Disney has ruined the franchise.
All of the latest ones are a LOT better than the first episodes (before “a new hope”).
At the end of the day, they are just movies. And as movies go, they are not all that bad. I say this as a guy that saw the very first movie in the theater 27 times.

Disney has ruined the franchise. I don't think there was enough story to warrant more than the three original films from the (Original) Original Trilogy. However, I have to give Disney kudos for continuing to make money off it by resurrecting the "franchise".
