State police spokesman Sgt. John Perrine says investigators don't know exactly how much cash was in the truck when its lost its load Well, I find that hard to believe.

Always double check that back door. Be sure it doesn’t just ‘appear to be locked’. Maybe there should be a little red light that blinks ON when the door is properly locked.
Whatever, the driver may want to update his resume.
Just don’t refer to the time you were employed by Brinks.
Say that you were ‘researching a novel’ in Prague.

Brinks will know EXACTLY soon enough when they tally up what they were unable to deliver. They probably don’t want to give the cops, much less the media, an exact figure to advertise around.

Sometimes, with a little practice, it's quite easy to get money out of an armored car.

Finder’s keeper’s.
We all know those cops would jump on that too. Just ten seconds of collecting is a new PC or guitar.

Well there’s definitely gonna be some shrinkage just from the cops on the scene.
