I found it suspicious that Grow switched his given names of Aaron Galusha to Galush Aaron so that he would be called Galusha instead of Aaron.

Re the “Spring Fashions” on page 12, GAH! I wear a skirt or dress all the time, except for my Scout leader uniform, but if I had to wear all that stuff, I think I’d dress as a man and join the cavalry.

Wikipedia says Galusha or Galutia is a German surname based on the root “Gall” or “Gaul.”
It’s not a worthwhile day if one doesn’t learn something new!
