Miss this news as he did not attend last year too. GOOD!! I am a self-professed nerd and I find this event being called the "Nerd Prom" insulting. These correspondents are not nerds as they probably would have difficulty using a calculator or naming every captain from the different Star Trek series.

Where are his priorities? Yeah there’s saving millions of lives by preventing nuclear war with Korea, protecting our national sovereignty from invaders, saving our economy from overwhelming trade deficits, making America great again, little things like that, but com on! Stroking the egos of the pampered princes and princesses of the press should be high on his list /sarc

It is not a “boycott.” He just has better things to do.

Will be there for the patriot's rally in Washington....Twp., Michigan.
...the Politburo presstitutes can choke on their DC/DNC talking-point fake news fraternity folly feast.
Would have been nice to see/hear from Sarah Huckabee Sanders at the good-guys rally, but understand she's got weekend duty of pest control at the rat fest.

I wouldn’t want to have dinner with a pack of hyenas either, except I have a heck of a lot more respect for hyenas than the mainstream media in this country.

Trump declines to walk straight into the media’s plane fan blades.
Trump prefers deals, with NK and the several idiots leading the European suicide pact, who are also pouting to resume business with IRAN.

The annual “dinner” should be discontinued. It’s enough we have to read, and watch, the drivel these clowns pump out, with using taxpayer money to feed and entertain them.
The White House Press “Corpse” [sic] needs to be thinned out, drastically. Those who come to attack the president, and Sara Huckabee, should wait at the gate. Let only those in who have legitimate questions about government and world affairs, not which shoes Melania is wearing.
The government is elevating the MSM to a “fourth estate” level, and giving them too much power over government decisions, and personnel. Sure, the have freedom of the press/speech, but that doesn’t imply that we have to spoon feed every nuance of every decision made by POTUS, or any other government entity.
Their mood now is like Trump “owes” them an explanation for anything he does...he doesn’t. Let them dig up news on their own...that’s what they get paid for.
Most “newscasts” nowadays consist of journalists, interviewing other journalists...who answer the “hard questions” with leftist opinions. Almost all of them are wrong, but will never, ever, run a contraction, or an apology.
Refusing to answer the questions asked in the press conferences does not constitute violation of the MSM’s “freedom of the press/speech”. Freedom of the press/speech is not “freedom of access” to every secret or event.
Take away their “standing”, and let them grovel for news the hard way...faking it.

A selection of Saturday Night Live's Cecily Strongs harshest burns in her 2015 White House correspondents dinner speech
To President Obama: Your hair is so white now it can talk back to the police.
It is great to be here at the Washington Hilton
is something a prostitute might say to a congressman.
The Washington Hilton, you guys. Man, if these walls could talk. Theyd probably say clean me.
Seriously, the Washington Hilton is great. And I bet when the president walked in and saw all those bellhops, he thought, finally, some decent security.
Lets give it up for the Secret Service. I dont want to be too hard on those guys. You know, because theyre the only law enforcement agency that will get in trouble if a black man gets shot.
NBC is here. You know, even us at SNL got criticized for making fun of ISIS. Now I think thats unfair. I mean, if anyone is guilty of taking ISIS too lightly, its him. You know. (Nods in the direction of Obama.)
Our relationship [with Israel] will be better in the next administration, just as soon as Israel makes a generous donation to the Clinton Foundation.
What can I say about Brian Williams? Nothing, because I work for NBC.
Some of the cast of the epic fantasy series Game of Thrones is here, and they told me that even they have never seen this many nerds before.
Naomi Campbells here. Now Naomi, youre lucky Hillary Clinton is not here. Because if you threw your BlackBerry at her, she would just delete everything right off of it.
Hillary Clinton said that she used her private email because she didnt want to use more than two devices. Now if that sounds familiar, its because its also one of the rules of the sex contract of Fifty Shades of Grey.'
Its just comforting to know that whenever a big story breaks, I can turn to CNN and watch Anthony Bourdain eat a cricket.
MSNBC shows so many prison documentaries theyre making Ed Schultz get a teardrop tattoo.
Just because Im a woman doesnt mean Im gonna go easy on you people. Im gonna go easy on you people because my brain is smaller.
Last years host Joe McHale proves that speaking at this dinner is an amazing opportunity that can take you from starring in a show on NBC all the way to starring in the same show on Yahoo.
I took Amtrak here, it was way more luxurious than I thought. Did you know that they have massage seats available on those trains? All you need to do is sit in front of Joe Biden. Those hands dont get tired, somehow.
Tonights event is being broadcast on C-SPAN, so to some viewers watching at home on C-SPAN, hello! But to most viewers watching at home on C-SPAN, meow.
On Jeb Bush taking things too far with a nickname because John Ellis Bush sounds too elitist: That would be like if Benedict Cumberbatch decided to go by Skeeter.'
