"It was like time had stood still"
Abba have announced the release of their first new material in 35 years, after the pop icons got together to record two new tracks together.
The Swedish Eurovision icons recently announced that theyll be touring in the form of virtual holograms in 2019. Now, a press release has circulated revealing that new songs are coming soon.
The decision to go ahead with the exciting Abba avatar tour project had an unexpected consequence, reads the statement from Abba. We all four felt that, after some 35 years, it could be fun to join forces again and go into the recording studio. So we did.
And it was like time had stood still and that we only had been away on a short holiday. An extremely joyful experience!
They continued: It resulted in two new songs, and one of them I Still Have Faith In You will be performed in a TV special produced by NBC and the BBC aimed for broadcasting in December. We have may come of age, but the song is new, and it feels good.

Last year, Benny Andersson announced that the group will reunite in digital form.
We see each other every now and then, weve done a few different things, and now weve got a project ahead of us, he said.
The show will reportedly use similar technology to that seen during Tupacs hologram appearance at Coachella in 2012, featuring virtual representations of each member alongside a live band.
It will take a bit of time, it takes time to digitalize a face, Andersson added. Its fun that its so technologically advanced. It will be interesting.
What a day!
First, North Korea, now this.
Is there anything Trump can’t do?

Are the girls now bigger than Stevie Nicks?
They will finally release a song proving that Fernando is the Dancing Queen!
And Kim Jong Un is finally facing his Waterloo and sending an SOS.
Best ABBA voice-over ever.
Dancing Queen, young and sweet only 73....
” Here we go again! “
ROTFLMAO!
What’s that from? That looks like Jun Ji-hyun.

Yeah, I really did.
I never could pronounce those girl’s names.
One thing I remember distinctly about the 7th grade is doing sand sculptures in Art class and the teacher putting in an ABBA cassette. We were actually allowed to listen to music while being creative. My mind was blown and the next week I fell in love with Olivia Newton-John.
I thought Frida was hot.
LOL!...............................
LOL!..........................
It’d be interesting to hear how they sound after all these years.
I guess I’ve never looked too deeply - but I’ve always wondering if they’ve ever released any of the old music that never made it on tapes, records, the radio, etc.
