I believe there are many people applying the rules to everyday life situations in the workplace, in dysfunctional families, etc.

Amazon has it. I suggest you buy the book and read it, all of it. Once you have read it, everything that is happening in the attempt to destroy the USA is very clear. I see so many current things occuring that I can turn to the pages in Alinsky's book and just say, yes that is what they are doing.
If one looks at the current campaign against President Trump, the tactics come right out of the book, "Rules for Radicals." Alinsky was an evil SOB, but I must admit a most brilliant SOB. His most famous follower of many followers was and is Hillary Clinton. Alinsky was not corrupt but and ideologue. Hillary was and is an ideologue but corrupt. Thank God for her corruption that the public came to know. Otherwise we would have President Hillary as the reincarnation of Saul Alinsky.

Alinsky is a hard guy to pin down politically. The Left loves his tactics, yes, and embraces their amorality, but Alinsky was not a Communist, small "c" or large. Neither was he an anarchist, although his tactics very definitely were anarchic. There seems to be a distinct disconnection between his philosophy and his actions that is obscured by the volume at which he always insisted that he was for the Downtrodden.
How seriously can you take a guy who celebrates Lucifer the Rebel and ignores his works? That seems to me to sum up Alinsky in a sentence. But he was an organizational genius, according to William F. Buckley, and it is useful to study his tactics because they're going to be used on you.

Rules from proud leaders who think they are better than others:
1. Find a tiny mistake in a person and magnify it 1000x.
2. Demand that the person asks for forgiveness.
Thankfully, the Lord works differently:
Show Him your biggest mistake and then
Embrace the cross as the source of forgiveness.
