It’s bad enough that the British government is essentially sentencing Alfie Evans to death. Now British police have announced that they will monitor and prosecute anyone who posts on social media a “malicious communication” supporting Alfie Evans or complaining about the hospital and courts.
Nevermind that Alder Hey Children’s Hospital is apparently misleading the court about Alfie, if anyone posts anything negative about the hospital or its officials and their treatment of Alfie, apparently they will be monitored and potentially prosecuted by local police in London.
The good news for LifeNews and many people around the world who support Alfie is that they do not live in London proper. However the thousands of people who are supporting Alfie and his parents there in London, including members of Alfie’s Army who are prolific on social media, need to be very concerned after the following announcement. Essentially the announcement tells people that not only will the government kill Alfie Evans it will kill any attempt to complain about it.

It used to be that free speech was not only tolerated but respected and venerated. Decades ago a right to free speech was the hallmark of liberal activists who wanted to protest the government. Now that it is conservatives who are protesting what the government is doing free speech goes out the window.

We should flood UK websites with messages in support of Alfie. Let the bobbies try to prosecute people well outside their jurisdiction — by the hundreds and thousands.

some one who has the money tp hire the proper people should put together a rescue mission and sneak him out of the country...the British court and medical system needs to suffer total humiliation over this because this has happened to several kids in England. the kids only crime is not being of the noble class with political pull. you could bet if it was the royal great grand child of the queen of England this debate would not be happening.

You know, I lurked on here for YEARS, never saying very much. Keeping quiet, watching the passing parade..
Then, with all this Trump business, I started to say a few things — mostly couched in humor and sarcasm.
Now (indirectly, to be sure) The British Empire has threatened me — ME! — with being “monitored” and possibly even PROSECUTED (though I have no idea how) IF I should happen to write something The Imperial Thought And Speech Police don’t like.
I beg to remind them of how that turned out the last time they tried that sort of thing.
I will not say anything “special” at this time, because I’m very selective as to which hills I’m willing to die on.
But I am thinking things which one day, shortly, I will say.

And has a muzzie for a mayor in London who ignores muzzie crimes; well to be fair, the cops have more important things to do like monitoring social websites for hate content against muzzies and anyone decrying the fact that judges want to kill a child; a non-muzzie child at that.
