There’s no I in team

I always quickly respond,

There is no team without "M" and "E".

Every time I thought outside the box at work, they told me “Don’t reinvent the wheel.”

Did they forget my favorite? "it is what it is".

Always thought that was the dumbest statement.

Of course it is what it is cause if it wasn't what it is it would be something else and that would be what it is. lol!

Think outside the box

It is people like Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt and Lindon Johnson who thought outside the box and got us in to this Socialist nightmare.

My sister made a successful career with:

I wouldn’t consider half of these “cringe-worthy.” Many of them are short, simple ways of saying something that would otherwise take longer to explain.

The most hilarious trend in corporate offices is training to thing out of the box, with standard operating procedure, worksheets and reference manuals. I found that more amusing than time management seminars that involved pre-planning planning meetings.

I’ve always cringed at, “take ownership”.
Taking ownership is stealing. You can take responsibility but that’s old fashioned and, maybe, micro-aggressive?
