Why the hell are the commissioners issued gold badges? I am sure it was done so they could attempt to use their position to try to get out of tickets etc. in this case, the officer was not intimidated.
I'm sure that it works 99 times out of 100.

In fact, that gold badge saved her from the beat down and cuffs a mere citizen would have received.

As much overtime as chief maintenance supervisor Stephen Olmo has you would figure he is there 24/7/365 and can be reached by anyone who needs him at a moments notice to stave off any misfortune that may befall the city!
