George Carlin was funny even with the blue language.
Too, lol, funny. I’ve watched quite a few of the vids of him on YT, but missed that one. Thanks for the post. Really enjoyed it.
“I’m getting in the plane, let Evel Knievel got on the plane!” Love that line. When I saw Carlin live years ago, he said “Let the daredevils get on the plane,” instead of Knievel.
Here’s a phrase that apparently the airlines simply made up: ‘near miss’. They say that if 2 planes almost collide, it’s a ‘near miss’. Bullsh.., my friend. It’s a ‘near hit’! A collision is a ‘near miss’.
[WHAM! CRUNCH!]
“Look, they nearly missed!”
“Yes, but not quite.
Thanks, that was fun.
Sent it to my son. He’s loving it, too.
I expect to be flying next week. It’s going to be difficult trying to suppress giggles after hearing this. I always loved Carlin’s plays on words!
Carlin - very funny, very bright, but unfortunately too much language for me to share with many friends who try to maintain standards in their lives. I gotta admit hes done some hilarious routines, tho. His school clown album had some terrific moments too
Yep. I bet. I read a post on the YT thread for this video...it was from a couple of years ago. At the time of writing, the person saiid they would be flying soon for the first time and how this eased some of their fears. Laughter is very good.
And I can always count on people like Carlin or Williams to make me laugh out loud. Gotta be amazing to have that ability. Hope you have a great flight. Take a selfie of you smiling. ;)
It’s a near hit!! LOL Thanks for the memories!
