Not sure why this is important. Maybe there are important players who are Colonels helping Trump? I’m sure that good guys who were Colonels under 0vomit would NOT get promoted. I think the "red carpet" remark was just mocking the person who wanted the plan spelled out in detail, in public, before it was executed. Like rolling the red carpet out for Hillary, or Obama, or (pick your villain) before executing an arrest - or rolling the red carpet out for a country before unleashing on them - or (pick some political campaign and telegraph the plan in advance).

I’m probably stating the obvious now but this NK / Armenia thing has brought into clarity for me how the DS plans to defend itself / intimidate people - Use of Rouge States Nuclear / Conventional Capabilities. And Trump has to take these out before he can go head on with the DS, so they have nothing to respond with.
