LOL That is what I told my wife. Sounds rather “progressive” to me. I googled it but the only information I could find was seminars about leadership, etc., and it was for administrative and teaching staff.
Can’t be but one thing. Whitey put-down day. I’d pull my kid out that day and go to a history museum or something.

Not only pull your kid out for the day, encourage other parents that you know to do the same.
Personally, I’d be VERY loud about doing so, but in this day and age, discretion might be better.
I’ve never been known for being discrete, though. :^)

I suggest you attend in dred locks, jeans pulled halfway down, black t-shirt, and Converse sneakers. A few neck tats would help. Start by telling them your spouse is transgender, you voted for Hillary, and your 6th grader is active in antifa.
It means your kid’s going to have to attend class blindfolded and wearing noise-cancelling headphones to compensate for their White Privilege (even if not white).
I am leaning toward that. I’ll take him to the Phoenix Police Museum instead.

In which State do you live?
Because I don’t necessarily trust that I would be getting the full story. I wanted to see if other parents knew what it was about. My son has been in what I think is a pretty good school. No “progressive” shenanigans, save one: I volunteered to help out to take the kids on an outing. It was a play. Turned out the play had a VERY aggressive socialist message to it. Something about a merchant who sold blankets and learned that it was much better if he gave his blankets away rather than sell them. I was not happy. If I had known the subject and story line of the play my child would not have attended.
