Good news, Caddyshack lovers: Actor Bill Murray and his brothers recently opened a restaurant thats themed after the 1980 hit film.
The Murray brothers -- Bill, Joel, Johnny, Ed, Andy and Brian -- officially opened the restaurant on Tuesday, which is located in the Crowne Plaza Hotel on River Road in Rosemont, according to WGN.
The restaurant's motto? Eat, Drink and be Murray.
"The fact that it is called Caddyshack means it has something to do with golf," the actor said at a press conference at the restaurant's unveiling, according to the Chicago Tribune. That feeling of casual fun, I think is what it is."
The restaurant's walls are covered in family pictures and posters from some of Murray's other movies, such as "Groundhog Day."
Crispy potato golf balls, a double bogey cheeseburger and Caddyshakes," among other items, are featured on the menu, WGN reported.
This isnt the first 'Caddyshack'-themed restaurant. The original, located in St. Augustine, Fla., opened over a decade ago, according to WGN.

If they took out every scene that didn’t have Bill Murray or his rodent friend in it, it would be a greater movie.

However, I purchased it on DVD a couple of years ago and watched it for the first time in decades. I’ve changed. I’m not a fan any more. ;)
I went to the one in St. Augustine years ago. They had a custom made Caddy Shack themed motorcycle in the lobby. Awesome place.
“Now I know why tigers eat their young.”
Haha
Naked lady (golf) tees by the register for sure.
All I have to do is look at Rodney Dangerfield and I start laughing (a trait shared with Gene Wilder, btw.)
FWIW, they have one in Florida, and it’s more “Chicago” than “Caddyshack”. The menu has a couple of items named after characters in the movie, there are a couple of posters, and that’s about it. Probably a matter of paying royalties to the studio.
