Late Night TV has been circling the drain ever since Letterman refused to drop the “Dubya stole Florida” meme in 2000. At the same time he stopped being remotely funny and people started tuning in to the neo-Communist talk shows only to get their daily fix of progressivist confirmation bias.
Uncle Miltie, Steve Allen, Jack Paar, and the immortal Johnny Carson, all had talent and a sense of humor.
These days, those are impossible to find.
Eh, we remember the brilliant episodes of Johnny, we forget the rest. I used to watch Johnny a lot back in the day, most episodes were just there.
I can assure you of one thing.....that miserably low 3.29 million “Colbert” viewers ain’t gonna give Comey the book sales he is dreaming of. Based on his first few interviews...he has already completed his fifteen minutes of fame.
His next negative highlight will come when he is indicted and sent to jail for his treason against the state.
The little exposure I’ve had to any of them gives me the impression that Kimmel and Fallon don’t actually get how much they are resented by our side.
Colbert is not funny, just vicious, and he does NOT care whether he is resented or not. He’s actually that hateful.
The hosts are not as good as they used to be.
I don't even know who Jimmy Kimmel is. But the few times I watched Jimmy Fallon's monologue the anti-Trump one liners got really old really fast.
Kimmel is the jerk that hosted the Oscars and recently made fun of Melania’s accent.
