Thinks is beginning to look like Lynch and Comey were at odds over office politics. They both wanted to be the one elevated to a specific position and would tear the other down to get it.
Comey had the tarmac meeting recorded. That’s why we hear NOTHING from Lynch right now.
It’s probably going to all come down to race, ironically.
The Holder, Jarrett, Mills, Rice, Brazile, Jeh Johnson, etc. faction had quite a different org chart in mind than all the hetero old white guys and girls.
Remember when Comey first hinted that Trump had made statements that could be interpreted as obstruction of justice? Trump tweeted that Comey better hope no one recorded that conversation. At the time everyone thought DJT may have been recording. But if your conjecture is true, it might have been DJT letting Comey know that he was aware of Comey's history of recording.
So if he was stupid enough to keep the tapes of Lynch on the plane somewhere accessible, President Trump (and presumably, Q) now has them.
