i finally got started on the raised beds. it was near 80 today but might snow on monday.

i got the swiss chard planted and the blueberries fertilized. I baby those b.b. bushes because they were so scraggly when we inherited them, but they are growing new shoots, 2 are about 5’ tall, and all are loaded with flowers.

lettuces are coming up, as are peas and arugula. and cilantro.

bought 7-50# sacks of 6-12-12 and one of 34-0-0 for the big garden and orchard. And beet seeds. Beet and chard seeds are the only ones i but since i cannot get them to come back the 2nd year and provide me with seeds! i did get carrots and onions to do that, though.

I need to get started on the raised beds too. However, the ones with wheat, rye, and garlic likely will not be ready to harvest till June. So I don’t have a lot of space left for anything.
