Hungry customers began calling Bull City Burger and Brewery in Durham, North Carolina, last month in search of their famous tarantula burgers. The restaurant has been serving the eight-legged dish for the past three years in honor of exotic meat month -- and this year would be no different, though the establishment pushed the date back a month.

Get a crab leg and put it on your spouses pillow.
When they wake up and look at it you say,

I dont have beetle wings from a beetle burger but I do have some buns.
several years ago, my son was backpacking thru India, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos. He said that he watched the 2008 election results at a place in Cambodia while eating a bag of deep fried tarantulas. He said they were actually pretty good.
I was thinking it was going to be a joke, and it was a soft-shelled crab. Nope. It’s a spider. For crying out loud! That is not food.
Hmmmm, yum, love soft shell crab, had two a couple nights ago.
Somehow, I am reminded of Beaky Buzzard saying, Nope, nope, nope, not gonna do it.
They had better not cook and serve it “rare”, might by the eaters demise. NO WAY would I consider ordering one of those.

Apparently there is no shortage of tarantulas. I always thought that a good way to get ride of vermin is to feed them to the hungry. Not for me though.
