Maybe we should ALL just hit abuse button when people continue to act out on the threads.

We tried that a few months ago when we were under very heavy attack. Ransomnote and many of us hit the abuse buttons repeatedly. Finally, as I understand it, the mods were being inundated, so after consultation with ransomnote, they left it up to us to deal with it as best we can by ignoring the attacks, etc.
If I am incorrect in this, I beg to be corrected.
Part of the strategy they (disruptors) have, is to goad us into losing our cool and we post something abusive, (even if they deserve it) and then WE become subject to banning/ deletion of posts.
If we are researching a topic that is particularly sensitive to the black hats, we are also goaded into be being distracted by wasting our time and energy on the donnybrook scenarios that can be so epic (and yes entertaining.) However those donnybrooks do not get puzzle pieces fitted together.
A certain bit of jousting is necessary to find out truly who is a disruptor, and who is a FRiend who is a skeptic and not red pilled yet. Not always easy to tell. Sometimes we have had some wonderful posters join us after a donnybrook who are now very treasured (i.e., reasonisfaith - magnificent contributor of 188%.)
ALL WHO ARE GENUINELY CURIOUS ABOUT Q ARE WELCOME ON THESE THREADS - EVEN THE ONES WHO ARE SKEPTICS.
PEOPLE WHO COME ACROSS AS DISRUPTORS ARE TO BE SHUNNED AFTER THEY HAVE OUTED THEMSELVES.
At least that is now my operative strategy.
I say let’s use the trolls to our advantage.
They are like the canary in the coal mine. They show up and post frantically when something is about to happen. It gives us warning. Yesterday’s troll was - IMHO - a predictor of today’s bombshell IG report.
The second hint we have is that Q goes quiet. Too busy with dropping the hammer to post. He posts in advance to let us know all is well, then becomes silent for a short time while he is taking care of more important business - draining the swamp!
