The author gets an important point wrong here. Mueller didn’t just decide to pursue Manafort several months after his appointment. Manafort was already being investigated by the FBI long before Mueller got involved. If anything, the events that have unfolded since mid-2017 would suggest that Manafort was a bigger target than Trump ever was.
How in the world can Sessions sleep at night? He says his prime mission is to RESTORE THE RULE OF LAW to the Department of Justice. And yet he’s presiding over a DOJ that is descending into officially sanctioned lawlessness, oppression and betrayal of our Constitution and our national values. And Sessions does not say a word or lift a finger to make things right.
Sessions is actually presiding over THE DESTRUCTION OF THE RULE OF LAW. He’s betraying his country. He’s betraying the American people.
