NEOCONS are beating the war drums again

Posted on 04/09/2018 4:18:01 AM PDT by MNDude

I just turned the radio on to Hugh Hewitt this morning and he was interviewing the wonderful Lindsey Graham. Hugh Hewitt was filled with excitement and saying Will trump absolutely must attack Syria now! Of course Lindsay was saying the Trump must attack Assad.

What do you think about how much these guys have such a predictable knee-jerk reaction to I guess at act like this

People are waking up to the bipartisan war machine mobilized for the benefit of all at the expense of the long-term security of Americans.

I am supporting President Trump.

You know, the guy we all voted for and who you don’t want to mention.

What is happening in Syria is not happening in a vacuum.

Assad, in addition to being a monster who needs to be destroyed, is Putin’s puppet in the Middle East. Putin has Iran as an ally and Iran is involved in trying to control Yemen.

Iran has lunatics in Syria, supported by Assad, who are engineering attacks against Israel.

Turkey is controlled by another unstable lunatic who can flip to either side.

Unless Assad is removed, his horrific behavior will encourage other madmen on the Middle East to act similarly, greatly strengthen Putin’s hand there and allow him to put increased pressure on the feckless Europeans. Further, it will undermine the current government in Saudi Arabia trying to moderate that country’s internal policies, and expand the influence of the maniacs in Iran.

Putin’s buddies, the Red Chinese, ar re putting a military base in the horn of Africa at Djibouti.

The US is a world power, not another Switzerland.

This is 2018, not 1783.

We need to let them know this is not
their playground.

I find it hard to believe Assad gas people immediately after we said we’d plan to leave.

I agree. This smells of a False Flag operation by Assad's opponents.

The stampede for war is on - led by Linda Graham and the “Intelligence Community.”

The GOP and the Deep State are ALWAYS ready to shed working class American blood in defense of OTHER country’s borders.

Why is Iran supposed to be the ultimate evil? Until Iran starts sponsoring terrorist attacks on US soil and Iranians and/or Shiites start flying airplanes into American skyscrapers, I consider Iran to be a lesser problem and a de facto ally against those who target American citizens,

The ‘rebels’ in Syria are al-Qaeda backed by Saudi Arabia.

They are the kind of people responsible for killing thousands on 9/11.

Now they are our “allies” in the war being envisioned.

Donald Trump was not elected to align the USA with al-Qaeda.

Make America Great Again, don’t make Saudi Arabia Great.

Unless its because the USA, Britain, France etc. are dependent on Saudi $$$$$ to prop up massive debts which would pretty much explain what’s really going on to me.

And keep an eye on Nikki Haley in the UN. She’s one of them too. I never understood why Trump hired her for that position.

Are you serious?

Iran us working on a nuclear weapon and is supporting the North Koreans with oil dollars.

They have attacked American naval vessels, are holding American citizens hostage, have persecuted religious minorities and are supporting terrorist organizations in Syria that are aiding the Palestinians in attacking ISRAEL, as well as supporting Houthis in Yemen in taking that area over.

They are an evil menace which constitues a serious geopolitical threat to America and American interests which us why the criminal president Obama supported them.

The current government in Saudi Arabia is reformist, supportive of Istael, and has no connection with ISIS. In fact, there is every reason to believe Assad’s atrocities, in addition to being responsible for mass immigration to Europe, generated ISIS.

If I was in charge of Iran, I would want nuclear weapons to protect my nation just as Israel has has nuclear weapons to safeguard their land. Maybe if our neocon empire builders were not always seeking to intervene, overthrow and threaten Iran, we would not have as many Iranian actions against Americans in that part of the world. Even so, the Iranians are not the ones inspiring attacks on American citizens on American soil.

I really can’t believe you believe what you are saying and I seriously question your motivations.

There is no way a legitimate American patriot can believe your comments.

My motivation is the long-term well being of the United States of America which is not enhanced by meddling in the endless Islamic civil war.

Haley supported Rubio against Trump in South Carolina during the primary in 2016.

Haley must be in that camp of McCain, Graham, Rubio etc.

She spouts the jihadist line about atrocities in Syria over and over again.

A great representative of Saudi Arabia’s interests at the United Nations.......

Isis doesn’t have planes & helicopters. The gas is being dropped from the sky. Therefore there are 3 choices : Assad, Putin, Iran. It’s Assad’s country, so he’s at fault.

It's not our country so it is none of our business.

” Until Iran starts sponsoring terrorist attacks on US soil “

You mean like giving safe haven and safe passage to several of the the 911 attackers? Or teaching the Iraqis how to make IED’s to kill & wound thousands of American soldiers? Khobar Towers doesn’t count?
Iran supports terrorism worldwide and uses those proxies to attack us, so you have no idea where Iranian support comes in. Several Iranians have been arrested in recent years for attempts to commit attacks on U.S. soil. (fortunately they were caught beforehand)

Using the same standard, we can blame Florida for the 9-11 attacks sine the hijackers got safe passage and flight training there.

And Americans should be upset at whatever aid Iran gave to attacks on our soldiers, but attacks on a threatening military force on the homeland's borders are not the same level as attacks on civilian citizens going about their business. If a Chinese army occupied Mexico, would we not be interested in harassing them?
