At Arco in Santa Cruz yesterday it was $3.30 a gallon for unleaded.
Per API, updated as of last quarter...

It’s $2.25 per gallon around here, in Texas. Californians are just doing this to themselves. At some point, enough of them are going to understand it’s their own fault. It’s up to them to change their own state government.
$2.23 in Mid-Missouri
I can remember $0.22 gas wars on McKnight Rd.
The US auto fleet averages ~5 mpg more than during the FC. It is approximately 25 mpg today. The gas spike was a double whammy for people that had a reduction in pay and/or had ARM mortgages. Gas prices actually started pushing ~$4 during 2011-2014. It wasn't that big of a deal, because people had their cash flow issues worked out.

It has been rising here in Alabama also. Was near $2.00 for a long time. It has now climbed to $2.40 around here and continues to inch up. Every time something happens in the Soviet Union, Red China or even North Korea, it jumps up gas prices. Let something happen in the Middle East and the gas prices go nuts.
Personally, I hope California screws itself right into the ground....
Im in Ventura and need to fill up before I head home. Noticed yesterday it is $3.89 at the station on the corner. My car uses premium. Ugh
Sorry. Typo.
I meant $2.34.
It would be Brown’s campaign slogan IF he was honest ... buy he’s not and he wasn’t and he’s not capable of being...
below from 2011 when Brown started the process of sealing California’s doom:
“California Gov. Jerry Brown signed the states Dream Act into law Saturday, clearing the way for illegal immigrants to receive state financial aid to attend California universities and community colleges.
The law gives illegal immigrants in California more education benefits than in any other state.”
I live in central Illinois. Most of the time there is a 40 cent difference in price between 87 octane and 93 octane. When I go to the Chicago area the spread is much larger. Anytime I am up that way, I just do a splash and go if I need gas.
I was out in LA last December and noticed a similar price spread as Chicago.
Stop letting g Californis Politicians play petroleum enginears on TV. Two reasons gas prices are so high in California, one, the democrats design the gas to a custom blend that is more expensive and teo the Democrats tax the hell out of it.
One reason California has turned into fools gold.
Fools and Democrats, but I repeat myself.
