Very, VERY sad. I was reading the comments by the dead couple's friends this week attacking any data or facts of the case that suggested child abuse. (i.e. the neighbor that reported one of the children came to their home repeatedly asking for food and another instance where one of the girls came to the neighbor's home at 1:30 AM yelling something to the effect of "save me!!!".)

The friends attacked the neighbors as malicious when the neighbors were just providing true facts of what happened.

Those odd attacks made me realize that something was very wrong with the people who were cooing over the couple as the most loving ever to the children.

Also the way the parents used the kids to support en mass publicly the couple's politics. It was adding up to be a toxic, abusive, home life for the children.

CPS called at their house and the couple decided to kill all the children rather then be found out for being the abusive parents they were. 6 children dead. Tragic.

My conclusion is that there was ONE actor in this tragedy. The ‘husband’ was driving. The ‘wife’ was probably screaming at her to slow down.

I don’t see both of them acting together. There were issues in this relationship that will probably never see the light of day.

Severe personality disorders and enabling led to this.

Yes, the enablers have a lot to answer for.

Australian media have reported that one of the women was convicted of assault, in an earlier instance where she ‘lost control’ while spanking one of the children.

CPS should have acted more decisively, and sooner.
