The biggest Chick-fil-A location in the world is now open in New York City. The new 12,000-square-foot franchise location had its grand opening on Thursday, drawing massive lines of people eager to satisfy their fast food craving and check out the behemoth, five-story restaurant.
The new Chick-fil-A, located at One World Trade Center in the Financial District, features what the Georgia-based company called 'one of a kind design elements,' including seating for 140 people, an open-air rooftop dining area, floor-to-ceiling windows, two kitchens and a semi-private group meeting and dining space.

/shrug see it in business finance a lot still at least
Couldnt care less if you didnt get the hype.
Chick-Fil-A’s standards for hiring, training, quality, cleanliness and consistency are a marvel. Every time I go through a drive in line and see young people who are committed to doing a job and satisfying customers, I think there may be hope for this country after all. No accident that a lot of very successful people got their start as teenage employees at Chick-Fil-A.
The Chick-Fil-A of today reminds me of another fast food chain with similar standards—McDonalds, about 60 years ago. Sadly, those days at the golden arches are long gone.
In New York City where a sandwich like Chick-fil-A cost 15 to $18 they’re going to do a smashing business.
I’m one of those that loves the company and the stand they have taken, but not that fond of their food. It’s OK, just don’t like the coating on their fried products. I’m much fonder of the spicy grilled sandwich though.
When I want fast boneless chicken I prefer Zaxbys. Am I going to hell?
CFA also does a nice grilled chicken sandwich, so don’t pass them up if you’re avoiding fried stuff. And you can get a “superfood salad” (kale salad) as a side item instead of the waffle fries, if you’re avoiding all things fried.
Zaxby’s is the only place that comes close to CFA, and they do enough stuff CFA doesn’t do, such that it’s worth going there sometimes ilo CFA.
BTW they were both started in GA and are headquartered here. GA being the Peach State is really a misnomer, there aren’t all *that* many peaches grown here, but there *are* a lot of chickens raised. And clearly people have figured out what to do with them.
If you’re ever in Buckhead in Atlanta, I’ll say that the fried chicken at Southern Art at the Hotel Intercontinental may be the best fried chicken in town. Pricey though, serious white tablecloth restaurant.
I believe I read once they make more money per restaurant than any other fast food place.
Seriously? I thought $6+ for a combo was high. Delicious, though. Chick-fil-A rocks, especially frosty lemonade.
You read correctly. As of 2014, it was an average of $3.1 million per store.
Something the liberals hate.
That would have been over the top.
LOL!
...for those who enjoy smog with their waffle fries.
NYC isn’t smoggy.
.
Actually, they don’t serve “patties”. It is an actual chicken breast... not flaked or formed or mutilated in any way. You can get them fried (my fav) or grilled (Mr G likes that) They also have tenders and nuggets... but those are also actual chicken pieces.
They also have fruit, salads and soups. Good food, fast.
What’s the best chicken sandwich—(not chicken salad)?
We just got a Chick-fil-a a few months ago and I have never visited.
.
We just had a C-F-A open in our little burb. It’s good eating, with excellent service.
The plain chicken sandwich comes with pickles. That’s the one I like. Mr G likes the grilled sandwich with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and sauce.
