A young black transgender woman was shot dead in a Louisiana motel this week, becoming at least the seventh transgender woman known to have been killed in the United States this year, rights advocates said.
The woman, Amia Tyrae, 28, was killed Monday at about 1:15 a.m. at a motel on Airline Highway, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
Dr. William Clark, the East Baton Rouge Parish coroner, ruled Ms. Tyrae’s death a homicide, caused by a gunshot wound to the chest.
The Police Department said Friday night that Dedrick Butler, 22, of Denham Springs, La., had been arrested in the killing. He was charged with second-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

I’m gonna guess the dude didn’t know what he had until he met “it” in the motel. Then went nuts.....

This isn’t a case where Transgendered Amia picks up a young stud in a bar and later at the motel call out “Surprise”? Is it?

I worked with a guy in 1972 that took a “girl” out. When he found any outie instead of an innie he beat “her” to death. Went to prison for a longtime.

And, the victim tried to fool the killer?
And, the killer was so horrified at being made a fool of, he killed the victim?
Is that the story?
What was hew doing when he got killed? Drug deal gone bad?
