"Pain" by War On Drugs was my favorite new song of 2017. That entire album flows pretty well. Excellent musicianship with War On Drugs. You hear WOD a lot on Sirius radio, especially the Loft and Spectrum channels.

I haven't listened to terrestrial radio in over a decade.

In my opinion, Automatic Man was one of the not underrated bands of the 70s. The big hit off their '77 debut album was 'My Pearl', but every tune on that album was groundbreaking.

My favorite tune on that disk is Right Back Down

Give it a whirl, and be surprised.

Pearl Jam is an excellent example of two albums and done. Nothing after Vs. is even worth mentioning. As for the Stones, Steel Wheels came out in '89 - good album, but they haven't really matched that effort since then.

The folk group “Georgy Girl” Seekers? A couple of hits? Heard ‘em when I was a kid, kiddo.

Appears you have no knowledge of Little Feat, Poco and the LA/SoCal country rock scene of the early 70s...and I was there, living in Hollywood, when it all was happening and before it turned dark.
