Sorry, but if you are flying to Perth, you will one way or another be stuck in an aluminum tube for at least 17 hours. If you follow the traditional route and layover in Dubai or Singapore, your total flying time will even longer - and you’ll be sitting at least at one airport in the middle.
Give me the direct flight every time.
I made that trip from Little Rock, Ar to Perth, travel time was about 24 hours, changed planes in Hawaii and Sydney.
I’m not sure about that. Unless you are flying business class, that is. If you are flying coach, even Qantas, you are reclining slightly at best and it is mind-numbingly boring. I think I prefer the direct flight but it is painful.
