It’s nice to have some uplifting news for a change.
My youngest sister had Down’s syndrome, and she lived for working at McD’s (who did this sort of thing for years). She loved people, and really was upset on days when she couldn’t go to work.
A lot of folks who are “normal” could have learned much from her.
And, she actually had a real job. Something Bernie the mooch has never had.

I have mixed feelings about this story...as far as I've read,at least."Caesar Chavez"? "Empowered Coffee"? NO THANK YOU! Just more Marxist bullbleep.

Hiring disabled people who, despite their disabilities, can do the job properly? No problem at all.

Just my 2 cents' worth...

And BTW...I spent almost 25 years working in a “front line” department (”front line” meaning patient care) of a major hospital. I've had contact with more Downs Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy patients than I can count and found them to be delightful and/or horribly tragic people. That is,people deserving of enormous respect and/or deep sympathy. So my earlier comment has nothing to do with disability phobia or anything like that.

This makes me smile today. There are more and more stories about these types of businesses, in the future I would love to open a nice place like this.

I think the left has both done harm and good for the disabled,ie, helped enforce their rights, and in the meantime coddled and negatively enforced the lazy suckers of society.

It’s nice to hear some good news. Many people say, well, parents of Down’s syndrome children, say they bring much joy to their lives.
