It’s nice to have some uplifting news for a change.
My youngest sister had Down’s syndrome, and she lived for working at McD’s (who did this sort of thing for years). She loved people, and really was upset on days when she couldn’t go to work.
A lot of folks who are “normal” could have learned much from her.
And, she actually had a real job. Something Bernie the mooch has never had.

HEB Grocery Stores in Texas employee people with mild mental problems associated with Down’s Syndrome, not a lot but a few. I see them mostly as baggers at checkout. They are a bit slower than most baggers but that is okay. I have always been impressed with the courtesy and humbleness of those employees.

HEB “are good people” and their stores are very superior in product and price.
