Now, Zoe says that society still finds it easier to blame vulnerable young girls rather than working to bring abusers to justice, as well as revealing her fears that young girls are still at risk in the care system despite high profile grooming scandals in Rochdale, Rotherham and Telford.

It all makes sense in a distorted way once I remember that the Brits use “Asian” to describe Muslim or Middle Eastern.
Not to say actual Asians could never do this, but the modus operandi suits the Middle Eastern culture of today more than any other group.

The UK use of “Asian” may have been expanded to include the latest Middle Eastern debris, but IIRC, it initially referred to Pakistanis and Indians. Of course, the Pakis were all Muslim, as were some of the Indians.
I’m sure they’ll use it to include Muslims from deep Africa if it suits their needs.
