According to the report, this is reportedly the first death that occurred due to bee venom apitherapy following anaphylaxis. As per the report of the year 2015, a 65-year-old lady lost her life after getting bee venom therapy from an unlicensed apitherapist in South Korea.
Had the ambulance arrived more quickly and had the apitherapist administered adrenaline immediately after her symptoms got noticed then things for the woman could have been different.
The doctors stated that the live bee venom treatments are not advisable as they are unsafe.

The world is a strange place...
I know a guy that would *provide* the live honeybees, year-round, in New Hampshire, to those that make requests. Works great for arthritic joints. He also maintained that it’s not cold that kills bees in winter, but excess moisture. He had no issue going deep into his winter hives to grab a vial of a dozen or so bees for apitherapy.
i did a report on this treatment 25 years ago... seemed safe enough with the appropriate needles being nearby, and when there was a question as to allergies, they would do a test sting...
i wonder if any treatment can claim such a track record...
