The same applies to other countries, and even today. China is the next Germany I sometimes think. We and other countries are providing the dollars that allows China to build up it’s military.
Joe Kennedy was so pro Nazi, that he goofed and ran his mouth and lost his job as Ambassador to England. Don’t forget the big socialist programs of FDR that even the Famed democrat Al Smith took his criticism to the public.
The American Liberty League associated with the Smedley Butler coup was primarily Democrats, but it was bi-partisan. Both Bush and Joseph Kennedy were associated with the group. However, Butler never talked to the leaders - it was some lower level contact. I’ve read that Butler also had socialist leanings-but who knows.
Just for an example, though lets examine just one claim of the modern day era - let’s actually do a little research on the Marvin Bush Security Claim.
He was on the board at Securacom, but had stepped down well before the 9/11 attack. Securacom itself was not in charge of the entire security, and it had also lost the contract well before the incident and was merely completing a project (electrical IIRC).

WTC had its own security head, John O’Neill, who took up the job on August 23rd and died when the towers collapsed.
And at least some of the security was provided by the Port Authority: David Lim, a Port Authority police officer, was stationed at the WTC with his bomb-sniffing dog Sirius. MY OPINION: Based on having previously seen buildings demolished with controlled demolition, and what I observed and heard on live TV that day, combined with research:
I believe that bombs helped take down those buildings - it was a controlled demolition. Silverstein profited from it, and it conveniently saved him from having to mess with the asbestos issue. The players in the Great Game got their never ending war. Several other benefits from destruction of records, and also advanced sale/shorts of airline stocks etc. which gave some one immediate benefits. The Commission report did not name any names of who was behind those prescient trades.

Your post #1140 regarding the WTC: at the time the buildings came down, I had many years of heavy industry construction under my belt...a lot of it with structural steel.
That infamous day I ran home for lunch, slammed on the TV and saw the vids of one of the towers collapsing.
Other than the sheer horror of something of this scale happening at all, I was just as shocked at HOW the tower fell. The best way to describe the action was it “accordion-ed” down on itself, the collapse was fast, and the rate of collapsed accelerated. The entire motion was just damned odd. My gut and just being around “stuff” for years screamed something was not square.
I went back to the office dumbfounded., and raced to the room where our resident structural engineer/detailer worked.
“Rob, you need to see that. Iron just does not spooge down on itself in that manner unless it had “help”.”
The following day after he had seen vids, he pretty much agreed with my senses.
