As she addressed the crowd during the walkout at her Idaho high school, Kylee Denny faced heckles and name-calling from a group of students carrying American flags, she said. The counterprotesters included many familiar faces, including her boyfriend's stepbrother.
To avoid making a difficult situation worse, Kylee's boyfriend stayed in class during the rally at Hillcrest High School in Idaho Falls, which was part of Wednesday's national school walkout.
"I'm dating his stepbrother, which is really incredibly awkward and it's very tense because he was being so hostile about losing respect for me because I was walking out," said Kylee, a 17-year-old junior who helped organize the protest.

Honey, if you can’t even deal with the fact that your boyfriend’s stepbrother disagrees you with you, your life is going to be a long, hard slog.
She will fit right in at a college or university. Dissent is not tolerated and there are lots of safe spaces to retreat to. And you can always call in the antifa thugs if you really feel threatened. Real or imagine.
“he was being so hostile about losing respect for me because I was walking out”
This is the bleeding edge of the battle between good and evil. Much artifice has been stripped away. The leering face of the father of lies is discernible.

divide & conguer!; then divide some more!; again and again.....overwhelm!!!!!! No end!
Has anyone organized to be nice to the weird kids?
How about these kids cleaning up their own bully problem.
They remind me of the PEACE AT ANY PRICE, and BETTER RED THAN DEAD groups from the 1960s.
Walk away, buddy. You'll regret it if you don't.
“Kindness Clubs” and “Be a Friend” groups in schools are a thing.
So true.
When we said “free speech”, “free expression”, “right to assemble” - we meant for liberals.
We have dissent and conflict in our family over this too.
Half the family wants the kids that walked out punished and the other half says “nah just let em make fools of themselves”.
But no national coverage on the stories of students forced to attend or else be suspended.
No national coverage but Fox on the student beat up by his classmates for a pro-Trump sign.
No mention of the teacher suspended for merely ASKING if a pro-life walk-out would be equally supported.
Little mention that schools paid to bus students to anti-gun protests using our money.
