A few weeks ago we asked our readers to vote for their least favorite songs from the 1990s, so it was the obvious next move to dial it back 10 years and see what you guys hated in the 1980s. The results are sure to infuriate a lot of people. For the record, I personally disagree with most of these selections. In fact, I love a lot of these songs...
10. Rick Astley - 'Never Gonna Give You Up'...
9. Taco - 'Puttin' On The Ritz'...
8. Toni Basil - 'Mickey'...
7. Bobby McFerrin - 'Don't Worry Be Happy'...
6. Falco - 'Rock Me Amadeus'...
5. Men Without Hats - 'The Safety Dance'...
4. Wham! - 'Wake Me Up (Before You Go Go)'....
3. Chris de Burgh - 'Lady In Red'....
2. Europe - 'The Final Countdown'...
1. Starship - 'We Built This City'...

That was a horrid video....I may be incorrect but one video that made no sense because the song was original given its time early 80’s but the video was like someone on bad drugs.
Genius of Love by The Tom Tom Club
They also had that horrid song Wordy Rappinghood

Thank you for the clarification, Girl! I wasn’t sure.
To: Trillian
I can imagine. I’m not even a Def Leppard fan, but that song is exceptional.

Speaking of Christopher Cross, I always get a kick out of this video for "Sailing" -- for two reasons:
1. This might be the biggest mismatch between a male singer's physical stature and his voice. The first time I saw him singing in a video I would have sworn his entire life was lip-synched. LOL.
2. He's wearing the #34 jersey of the legendary Houston Oilers running back Earl Campbell. WTF? LOL.

Anything from Stryper is an instant Top 10.
Same with anything from a celebrity:
Party All the Time - Eddie Murphy
Heartbeat - Don Johnson
Respect Yourself - Bruce Willis

The Cars went downhill after their first album. I thought "It's All I Can Do" from Candy-O was their best song -- hands down.
