A few weeks ago we asked our readers to vote for their least favorite songs from the 1990s, so it was the obvious next move to dial it back 10 years and see what you guys hated in the 1980s. The results are sure to infuriate a lot of people. For the record, I personally disagree with most of these selections. In fact, I love a lot of these songs...
10. Rick Astley - 'Never Gonna Give You Up'...
9. Taco - 'Puttin' On The Ritz'...
8. Toni Basil - 'Mickey'...
7. Bobby McFerrin - 'Don't Worry Be Happy'...
6. Falco - 'Rock Me Amadeus'...
5. Men Without Hats - 'The Safety Dance'...
4. Wham! - 'Wake Me Up (Before You Go Go)'....
3. Chris de Burgh - 'Lady In Red'....
2. Europe - 'The Final Countdown'...
1. Starship - 'We Built This City'...

Ok, but what about “Rock the Casaba?”
That song was so politically incorrect and the video was also. I loved it!
She was fantastic. Must google.
Back in the beginning of MTV there was a crappy song that I sort of liked because of the video. The song by Chilliwack, My Girl, was not good but the video had Beachcraft Model 18 in it and that was the type I got my multi-engine certificate on and while I was in college I flew air cargo in them to make a little bit of cash and pad my hours.
It is sort of funny how certain ancillary things end up making a person like something.
"More Fool Me", IMHO one of Phil's better songs.
I will check it out. Thanks!
That is such a sweet story :)
Wow. Some do age well. Out of Freepurville to YouTube and Bangles.
Africa is a great song.
“Tarzan Boy”
*drops mic*
LOL! OMG I remember that! Oh yes, that obliterated the hell out of that guys career. He must have been out of his mind. Look at this, I looked it up and found it LOL!....

What the hell was this guy thinking?
Come on Eileen was a great song. Terrible video, though.
Love the line:
You in that dress, my thoughts I confess
Verge on dirty
Ah, come on Eileen
You can see “more” of her in ***The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak (1984)***

Can't be worse than Christmas in Hollis by DMC
Nah, I think you have a point there.
John Astley: “Let’s take off our clothes and put this love to the test”
Putrid, Awful, Horrible!
But who cared, she was hot!
I always thought Tom Hanks was trying too hard to emulate Bill Murray.
He seemed to try to always use Murray's timing and movements and Bachelor Party, which I sort of liked, proved to me he was copying Murray.
