A few weeks ago we asked our readers to vote for their least favorite songs from the 1990s, so it was the obvious next move to dial it back 10 years and see what you guys hated in the 1980s. The results are sure to infuriate a lot of people. For the record, I personally disagree with most of these selections. In fact, I love a lot of these songs...
10. Rick Astley - 'Never Gonna Give You Up'...
9. Taco - 'Puttin' On The Ritz'...
8. Toni Basil - 'Mickey'...
7. Bobby McFerrin - 'Don't Worry Be Happy'...
6. Falco - 'Rock Me Amadeus'...
5. Men Without Hats - 'The Safety Dance'...
4. Wham! - 'Wake Me Up (Before You Go Go)'....
3. Chris de Burgh - 'Lady In Red'....
2. Europe - 'The Final Countdown'...
1. Starship - 'We Built This City'...

That is a wonderful story. Wishing you many, many more anniversaries and much happiness.
Too funny, but shows how bad that song was that he couldn’t even produce a decent video...
It’s hard to say I’m sorry.
Not fair throwing zz top at the list. Class of their own.
Bad video. You would think they could have done better. Still like the song and no gay, transgender person etc person here.
I remember when MTV first came on, and I mean the very first day. I got home early and turned on the TV (my cable TV bill was $10/mo) and at noon a usually blank channel came on and the music video, Video Killed The Radio Star, came on and MTV was born.
I tend to agree with you that the quality of music went down on a very steep decline after that.
Chris Cross “Arthur’s Theme” (best that you can do)
when you get caught between the moon and NYC... /hurl
I believe that was one of the few Police songs written by Stewart Copeland. He also wrote "On Any Other Day", which I must admit was kind of funny....
My wife has burned the scrambled eggs
The dog just bit my leg
My teenage daughter ran away
My fine young son has turned out gay
And it would be okay on any other day
I like your taste in music.
Yes it is, and I have always liked happy sounding bouncy songs.
Suzanne Vega - “My name is Luka”
