I did spring break in Fort Lauderdale in 1968. Extremely mild compared to today
But....but didn’t David Hoggy call on his peers to party hardy elsewhere and boycott the GUNshine state?
The women in those photos are not 9s and 10s so there had better be some alcohol involved...
Stupid ideas take on a life of their own.
Like communism for instance.
That little zulu dance or whatever they call it is anything but appealing. It’s so trashy and the young women look like classless trash doing it.
And if they have to do that sort of dance to get some clown to have sex with them, they’re a hog.
It appears like most of the young people in the photos don’t realize the internet is forever.
Many of these people use student loans to pay for this kind of fun. Then they get sad about their debt. And then the want me to pay for the fun they had on the beach.
BWAAAHHHAAA!
TYPICAL COLLEGE MALE: "...Let's see...I am going to go to Ft. Lauderdale for Spring Break, drink lots of alcohol, go to lots of parties, cavort on the sand with girls in bikinis, or...stay at home in Madison, WI to protest over the inaction on banning guns...hmm...this is a hard one..."
One of Grand kids wanted to go on Spring Break last week to Floriduh.
The Grand Kid got round trip airline tickets home from the parents.
Anything else was not in their budget.
As if the Brits have any room to talk about young people getting drunk.
Dilly Dilly!
I’m sure most of these kids are straight A students.
We were in the middle of Fort Lauderdales Spring Break last year because we went on a cruise. Police were all over the beach, which was mobbed, with so many incidents going on. We tried to go into CVS but the line was wrapped around the store with kids wearing not too much & buying booze. By the time the cruise ended, Spring Break was pretty much over & you could walk around the beach.
A health warning has been issued to spring breakers about high rates of feces on Texas beaches. Betting the drunks will deposit double the amount when they leave.
My son is a senior aerospace engineering student. He and some of his geek buddies are heading to Florida for spring break.
They’ve been camping in North Carolina and the only reason they are going to Florida is to tour Cape Canaveral. He and another guy work for NASA so they get in for free.
All either have or will have higher level clearances and won’t be doing anything to jeopardize that.
Every year, some of the same kids do spring break. It’s either camping or space museums.
That’s what it ought to be.
I’m sure, that at 10am Wednesday morning, these students will abandon their shoreside hedonistic pursuits and join the national march demanding everyone surrender their weapons.
Only because theirs are even more debauched!
