Jennifer Lawrence sucks.
Good Lord! Is the author of that article overwrought or what! I hate to break it to Galloway in his search for stars to help him discover his soul, but it’s all make believe. There isn’t a single solitary thing real about show business except that it’s product is entertainment and its purpose is to make money for corporations.
I think the persistent gay rumors and the Scientology oddity, not to mention that he’s in his mid-sixties has meant not much success lately. But he did have a rebirth after Pulp Fiction. Maybe another 5 or 6 very successful movies in the next decade. (Get Shorty, Swordfish, Hairspray, Wild Hogs, A Civil Action, Face/Off maybe a couple others. Michael?)
I see no point to providing funds for my political enemies. We need to boycott every actor that decides to throw their weight behind a political agenda.
I will not see any Liam Neeson movies because he also opened his mouth.
Jennifer is kind of an unusual case. She is pretty, but I would not call her stunning. There are many, many more attractive girls. She can, however, act. She's got an oscar (and three more nominations). She needs to find roles that are not love interests.

And the producers:
Bob Weinstein ... co-executive producer
Harvey Weinstein ... co-executive producer
I haven't set foot in a theater since 2006. I've never seen a "jlaw" movie but I did see some photos of her on reddit a few years ago.
Clint Eastwood = The Last Movie Star
She done graduated 6th grade!
Bingo! I liked her as an entertainer until she started lecturing us on politics.
I think when you make a statement like that its important to state your age. There are not ever a lot of 80 year olds going to the movies, anyway. If you are 25 and saying that—then the movie industry needs to be worried.
After hitting 55, I knew that I had fallen out of the key demographic on everything except Polident, AARP, and Depends. They don’t make moves for me. I enjoy some they make-and others not so much.
They don’t care.
We don’t have the great actors coming out of a major war they fought.
The elephant in the room is that Jennifer Lawrence went overtly political.
And it’s nearly ended her career.
She was widely liked, and an excellent actress. She had the intangibles that make lasting stars.
Then she opened her mouth and threw it all away.
That’s the truth no Hollywood publication will print.
“Dont know why this author dissed Travolta so hard.”
Because ‘Battlefield Earth’ is unforgivable.
“Jennifer Lawrence has a great rack.”
I disagree. I’ve had seven kids and my two girls are perkier than those sandbags on JL’s chest.
Jennifer Lawrence won the Academy Award for Best Actress in the film Silver Linings Playbook.
Bob Weinstein ... executive producer
Harvey Weinstein ... executive producer
“They dont care.”
Exactly. I’m at a point in my life where I have more disposable income, but no one cares. The 30 year old marketing geniuses pursue the 18-35 year old market.
Do people past 50 go to fewer movies because they started disliking movies, or do we stop because there are no movies made that appeal to us?
Or have we gained the patience to think, “I can see the movie at home with my family and/or friends for free in 6 months, or go drop $50 to sit between cell phones and talking strangers and watch it in a theater. What to do?”
“Writers of great movies should be considered the real stars.”
Yep, it’s content that is most important but been missing for years - hence all these sequels that aren’t that good either.
Yep.
Had she not been in the "Hunger Games" series, and the "X-Men" reboots ... she'd already have come and gone. A C-List Jeopardy answer in 20 years or so..."This actress won the Oscar for Winter's Bone back in 2011."
And frankly, both of those series could have cast any pretty, 16-24-year-old girl in her role and been successful. She got lucky, that's all.
