Why doesn’t the Pentagon care?

'Cause they're OURS?

The “U” means “unidentified.” Unable to categorize. Does not mean advance probe from hostile civilization. There is nothing more known about them than the fact that they cannot be categorized.

Without useful information, nothing more can be done.

Did they say all this while bammy was president? No.

They’re “dreamers,” so “catch and release.”

The military uses spread-spectrum radios to communicate how the aliens can sign up for EBT cards and register to vote Democrat.

Mind you, I have absolutely no military background, but I will go ahead and say when I looked at (this - I think it was the same one) earlier today, I immediately knew it was some sort of remote control object, quickly moving.

Very obviously.

Now if I’m wrong, and you know that, but you aren’t supposed to say that, then of course don’t.

But I think very clearly, this was something either radio, remotely, or maybe even autonomously guiding itself in a flight.

That is my (not an expert) opinion, and I’m sticking to it.

:D

The “U” in “UFO” is for “unidentified” not “extraterrestrial”.
If they were from outer space the designation would be “EFO”.
And they’re probably from super secret project of ours.

If military planes encounter these things wouldn't commercial and/or private aircraft encounter them also?

I told the people at the Pentagon these UFO’s carry my family who come over to earth to visit me and then they were cool with it.

Search for "Steven Greer" on YouTube and watch his documentaries on The Disclosure Project.

But then he might be a lizard being posing as a human. Or he might be a deluded new ager who is being manipulated by devils. There are YouTube videos supporting both of those claims as well.

Or it could just be very sophisticated quantum swamp gas.

I think the answer is

” If we admit it- we have to tell the entire global population what we can and should do about it”’

UFO author Jacques Vallee - among others - believed that UFO's are more akin to "daimons" - they are an occult phenomenon manifesting physically - than to physical spaceships from some other galaxy.

He believed that they were consciously intending to alter public opinion on a variety of issues, and that the best way to determine that influence was to study the beliefs and attitudes that people derive or construct from the UFO phenomenon.

UFO's would thus primarily be of interest as a psy-ops phenomenon, not as a physical threat

Darn. I was beginning to think there might be something to this, but if the WaPo (to them, science is a really big word associated with these complicated unreadable Greek thingies strung together) supports it, one knows with no doubt that it is pure cr*p.

There are three distinct possibilities that I can reckon, and possibly combinations or variations of each, but for all three, the same official outward policy or posture would apply, so it’s difficult to distinguish which;

1) These are very advanced technologies of domestic origin.
In this case, the engagement and intelligence gathering would not be encouraged. But the outward posture would be to acknowledge as little as possible.

2) These are advanced technologies of a foreign military or (cue the xfiles theme) extraterrestrial origin.
In this case, engagement and intelligence gathering would not be discouraged as much, but for the most part probably done by compartmentalized assets.

3) This is all counter-intelligence intended to mislead or confuse foreign intelligence interests and it’s not at all what it appears to be. In this case significant intelligence gathering would be discouraged, and the release or leaks or publishing of various information would be executed by specific assets. Still, the official outward posture would be to acknowledge very little.

Here is my best guess at what is going on. In the years immediately after WW II, the US and the USSR both tried a shoot them down policy against provocative UFOs. This policy had to be abandoned after it led to a wave of retaliatory military and civilian aircraft losses and few UFOs brought down.

After further study, US experts accepted the ET hypothesis as likely valid, with a blue ribbon group advising that no official acknowledgement should be made due to the risks that the public would panic or that the UFOs would take aggressive measures if we acknowledged their existence publicly.

A long era of official public denial and various sham public UFO investigations followed, but it was coupled with intense secret US government study of UFOs, much of it piggybacking off increasingly sophisticated US strategic surveillance systems. Thus NORAD has long been the destination for reports generated by a secret US government UFO incident reporting channel.

The US has also sought to develop a defense capability against UFOs. It is said that recent technological advances now make that possible.

A gradual public acknowledgement of UFOs as real is likely seen now by the US government as timely due to the impending era of private space exploration and travel and the increasing availability of sophisticated imaging technologies for commercial and private use. Within a decade, readily available hyperspectral imaging cameras and image monitoring software will be able to scan the earth and skies for UFOs just as NORAD does.

The government is unlikely though to officially disclose the full extent of what it knows about UFOs. Instead, there will be various staged revelations that permit an official acknowledgement that, golly, UFOs seem to exist but do not represent a military threat to the United States.
