Not something that I would do or have done willingly.
Does the backup capture the drivers for everything so re-installation would be easier. Not that it is ever that easy. Lol.
Also, do you need your OS key and software license keys? Might not be a bad idea to save the info somewhere.
I assume you should apply all the updates thru current before the image is created. I wonder how long that would take ?

I have the paid-for version and love it! Windows also enables the creation of ISOs. After each update proves to be stable, I make an ISO. I also have a standalone drive for all data, or in a separate folder on a single system drive.
I just use Rufus and make a recovery thumb drive from the Win 10 ISO.
