I don't consider this story highly significant by itself, but even those of you who aren't looking for bean seeds will be interested in what's happening. (I searched and didn't find similar recent stories.) I wouldn't buy from this company, and I encourage everyone to look into businesses to see if they try things like this.

Curious as to how much of an impact to FedEx’s bottom line this dude’s “heirloom beans” made...

My guess is not much to give a care.

this statement is nothing more than a marketing stunt by this guy.

If his company is only spending 500,000 $ a year on shipping, and the company is global, he has a very tiny (comparatively speaking) customer base.

Image result for Steve Sando
Steve Sando , founder of Rancho Gordo, an heirloom bean company, shows off the "Good Mother Stallard" bean Wednesday April 13, 2011, in Napa, Calif.

I don't buy his beans, but if I did I would stop buying them after this announcement.

So here we see another pupil of the “Dick’s Sporting Goods Marketing Exploitation”.

Just like Dick’s, this guy seek gobs of free advertising for his self perceived virtue signaling. The result is identical for me, Heirloom Beans and Dick’s won’t get a dime from me.

Actually, never heard of Heirloom Beans, and Dick’s sucks, unless you want to pay $80 for a t-shirt or something.

What the hell is an heirloom bean? Is it a bean that is passed on down through generations?

Did the owner say which mass murdering NRA member upsets him the most?

Cuz there haven’t been any.

“The NRA is a really powerful machine that doesn’t allow dialog about gun violence,” said Sando.

I would like him to explain, in detail, exactly how he thinks the NRA became the "powerful machine" he describes.

This stunt won't make a hill of beans to gun violence.

These are always "feel" good things liberals do to assuage their own guilt, without realizing they are not making a difference at all to the problem itself.

Well I’m fed up with the high price of specialty heirloom beans and refuse to pay the price. None of this company’s product will ever cross my table.

How can the NRA prohibit dialog about gun violence? I hate this guy already.

LOL, I wanted to post the “Oh Noes” gif...

The guy probably has signs in his establishment for “Fair Trade Coffee Beans” or something like that.

Just another leftist scumbag trying to make money and publicity off of dead children.

It is what they do.

Assuming that he was using FedEx because they provided the best value for the dollar. How much more is he willing to play to play his silly little game?
