And I thought the article was going to be about Schumer, Pelousi, and various other assorted Rat seditionists

Was the insect called “liberalus stupidus”? These vermin go from blue state to red state and destroy each city they go to after destroying the last city with their leftard nonsense.

Dulles specialists found four live adults, 12 live larvae and several dead larvae and cast skins Jan. 24 in rice a Washington resident brought from Saudi Arabia. I've been promoting a complete travel ban with most nations of the mid-east and North Africa for the last 15 years. I continue to be proven correct.

Critical use of methyl bromide exemptions allow the United States to continue using MeBr until it is scheduled to be completely phased out sometime in 2017.
Not sure of the status in 2018 but I'm sure Sonny Perdue of Dept of Ag is on the case.

Per Wiki:
The Khapra beetle (Trogoderma granarium), also called cabinet beetle,[1] which originated in South Asia, is one of the worlds most destructive pests of grain products and seeds.[2] It is considered one of the 100 worst invasive species in the world.[3] Infestations are difficult to control because of the insect’s ability to survive without food for long periods, its preference for dry conditions and low-moisture food, and its resistance to many insecticides.[3] There is a federal quarantine restricting the importation of rice into the U.S,. from countries with known infestations of the beetle.[4] Khapra beetle infestation can spoil otherwise valuable trade goods and threaten significant economic losses if introduced to a new area. Handling or consuming contaminated grain and seed products can lead to health issues such as skin irritation and gastrointestinal distress

Beginning in 2002 and forward, the emerald Ash Borer has destroyed every single ash tree here in S. E. Michigan. I remember back in 2006 when I used to commute to Troy for work, the boulevards were lined with young Ash trees that were all dead. The neighborhoods with old, mature ash trees, the owners had to cut them down..........it was disastrous.
