There are lots of gods and there is the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob-Israel and Jesus... all anglicised for our reading pleasure and to possibly make prayer ineffectual.

A concordance will help sort out the various names of G-d terminology for the leader of the Army of Angels.
