In similar previous negotiations, there were demands for us (the U.S.A.) to disarm. It’s a ploy to influence ever more people in political groups in European nations to demand that we disarm. The longer term goal is to weaken us as much as possible for a future nuclear attack from China and Russia.
They simply want to expand further beyond their borders (as in conquer the world) and destroy us to get us out of the way for that purpose.
Economic sanctions are killing North Korea and they have run out of enriched Uranium, Plutonium, Tritium and other critical bomb elements due to economic sanctions cutting off supplies of raw materials or, more likely, because President Trump has shut down supplies of raw materials and probably also weapons grade or near weapons grade fissionable from suppliers like Russia, Pakistan and China.
No way could North Korea have been keeping up the pace of their nuclear weapons and missile programs without massive outside support in all forms - financial, technical and nuclear weapons specific materials

The latest word is that South Korea is inviting Trump to the meeting. I can think of 10 people I’d rather send: James Woods, Chuck Norris, Any member of Seal Team 6.
The only reason to meet with rocket man is to negotiate the terms of his surrender or neutralize him. Anything less and you end up in the same place we’ve been for the last 2 decades.
Trump presumably wouldn’t meet with him unless the terms of a deal were worked out in advance—or Trump were willing to go all Reykjavik on him. Likely the basic structure has been worked out already.
