Best actress winner Frances McDormand has been reunited with her Oscar after it was stolen from her table inside the Governor's Ball, the official Oscars after-party.
The "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" actress was spotted at the party getting her Oscar engraved. The 60-year-old star realized later that it had gone missing.

And that performance by that cop! Gomer Pyle using “citizen’s arrest!” was more true to life. To be honest, I stopped watching it about an hour into it. The only decent performance was Woody Harrelson, I’m embarrassed to say. I guess that’s why they killed him off early.
It's been known to work for parties, but then, if you have to tell the actress that she's fired, it could not be worth it.
I forgot about that. I generally like Sam Shepherd...but yeah totally unbelievable that this character would have been allowed anywhere near a police uniform.

Are black actresses in movies telling a story about black people going to bother with an inclusion rider? Would they care for one second whether the crew was diverse? Whether there were enough white extras?
An Oscar is worth the value of its metal content minus the cost to melt it down.
I just saw some photos of the thief holding the statue. I would use a lot more on it than hand sanitizer because the dude looks like he’s not beyond using the top end for anal penetration. If it were my Oscar, I’d have it sterilized in an autoclave.
