Who leaked Vault7 to WL? Snowdon, right?

It's always been reported that it came via Snowden but it's never been verified - IMO these were two separate drops and Vault7 may not have been Snowden. The interesting thing about the Obama 2014 speech is that he uses Snowden as the reason he's giving NSA data to people outside and then turned it over to Podesta.

Who returned fire?
Which alphabet agency? The one he exposed or the one he was working for? Or, someone connected with Assange?

The considered events here are that Snowden was still working for the 'company' when he went to no-such-agency and then stole everything. This was part of a coordinated attack / effort for the 'company' to take over. The release of Vault7 exposed things we'd rather not have i.e. missile things but also exposed the tools that could be use to "fake" things i.e. CrowdStrike - so that was an attack by unknown(s) against the 'company'. ... TBD ;)

Folks, the answer is right there in the question. Snowden was the CIA's attack on the NSA. The CIA shot first at the NSA to bring it down. What organization is the ONLY one which can return fire? it's obvious that would be the NSA shooting back in kind, targeting the CIA by leaking documents about the CIA to Wikileaks as a counterpunch.

No one else was targeted by Snowden's leaks. . . and the documents in the first six vaults were ALL about the NSA and only contained NSA documents.

Vault 7 was CIA documents and very much damaged the CIA. Would Snowden, a CIA plant, damage his mother agency? No. But the NSA counter attacking could damage the CIA, showing that two can play at this game and that they have more potent, up-to-date real-time weapons, including data as dated recently as this last autumn.
