Keith was more picky about the drugs he took.

They’re to old-old-old for Rock and Roll-oll-oll

But they’re too young to die...

We must be close to the same age, I wore the groves out of YBR. Norma Gene was on that album I think.

I went to 4 Trump rallies before election day. At each one the soundtrack included both the Rolling Stones & Elton John.
One of the best albums ever is Tumbleweed Connection.

That old geezer ain't too bad!

Here's a couple songs Keith has for Elton...

      "Get Off Of My Cloud"

      "Little Queenie"

And I guess Elton fans might like this one...

      "Monkey Man"

“Yea keiths fingers on his fretting hand are in terrible shape and yet he plays through what has to be painful without a public wimper.”

In my best years and the rare occasion when we played for 3 hours I’d have to soak my fretting hand in ice water to uncurl my fingers.

Ginger Baker uses face cream, Keef doesn't.

Keith and Elton both make great music. Neither’s music really compete with each other. It is different and both are great.

After Brian drowned and Wyman quit, I mostly lost interest in the group.

Uhmm, so you were, what, Between the Buttons, from '69 to '93?

Richards’ fame is due to Richards.

Keith’s financial fortune is due to Mick.

I liked all of it thru Yellow Brick Road....

Stones are simply best Rock and Roll band ever to me

But even they have had minimal successful new stuff since early 80s

Although that Blues album fairly recent was pretty good to be their ages

I know girls like Elton a lot probably more than guys but Davey Johnstone as Eltons guitarist laid down some good licks

I saw them on that same tour. I’ve seen them several times through the years, but that show was the best I’d seen.
