Three students who survived the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on February 14 by a former student that killed seventeen students and faculty were flown to Los Angeles last Thursday morning to tape an episode of the Ellen Show that aired on Friday.

These kids are 'survivors' of a shooting in the same way you would be the survivor of a traffic accident that happens to a car in front of you.

If you had taken these same teens, a month ago, and told them they could get an all expenses paid trip to Hollywood and a spot on the Ellen show, but it would cost them the lives of 17 of their class mates chosen at random, would they still go?...............

MSD is a very big school. I have to wonder how many of these students were actually in the range of the shooting? I know one would not have to be right near to suffer trauma from the event but seems many have very quickly recovered from it.

That is an interesting observation. All shooting was in Building 12, called the Freshman building. It is not yet clear if shots were fired outside.
David was in a closet with about 60 others in a locked room, apparently in a different building. Are shots heard in his video?

I have not watched any videos from students made that day. I just can’t at this point.
The shooting took 7 minutes. From what I have read they took place in a small area of building 12. This means many students were not in the vicinity of the carnage. I am skeptical that somebody who was within the vicinity would be putting on their glad shoes and dancing down the boulevard to drum up support for a cause. I am pretty sure you don’t the sound of shooting, and screams and moans of the injured and dying out of your system that fast.
Hernandez was already in the auditorium (for drama class?), the boy was picking up his brother from the continuation school before he went to drama class, and the girl in the dress was not in the building at all. What did they survive?
oh, and forgot to add, isn’t this racist:
