If you’re a fan of the extremely large Facebook group “Deplorables,” you may have noticed some changes over the last few days. On Sunday, Dan Schwartz, one of the original creators of the group, said he sold the group to Macedonians for $15,000 in an exclusive interview with the Conservative Firing Line.
I sold the Brooklyn Bridge,” he told me, explaining that the group — which currently boasts over 488,000 followers — isn’t even something he owns. “None of us own anything on Facebook,” he said. “We’re just guests.”

Deplorables members have moved to a new Facebook page, which is monitored to keep the enemy out.

Maybe it’s been losing money, and he was looking for a ‘golden’ parachute.

I think it is actually against the rules to do what he did, but it’s been in the news, so I’m not blabbing something that is not known to Facebook.

I have no idea what is going on. All I want to know is if the Facebook group name Deplorables was sold to Macedonians, where they the same 10,000 Macedonians Hillary said were carrying out hacking ops against the US?
Is this another example of “Macedonians Collusion”?

I’m not on Facebook, so I could not really tell you how they profit. It just seems that $15K is not that high a price to pay, if the goal of the buyer is to stop all actual discussion and exchange of ideas.
It seems that the original owner could have held out longer and gotten a better price.
They did seem to be on the other side, so maybe yes.
