Per Tarantino, if you give Jackson a few bucks, you get to call him a “niggar”.
If this putz was relevant it would require a comment.
Im not sure what Jacksons point would be. None of these mass shooters were trained gun fighters. Why does he not want intended victims to be capable of defending themselves?
Suppose you are a teacher in a classroom with a bunch of innocent kids, while a crazed shooter stalks the halls. Do you want a gun in your hand or not?
Actors, is there anything they don’t know?
Can someone thats been in a Gunfight tell that Muthaf—— thats Never been in a Gunfight, the flaws of his Arm The Teachers plan??!!”
Can’t put my finger on it but it looks like SLJ is recycling movie lines as tweets.
His most honest role was in Die Hard With a Vengeance. He played an unabashedly racist black guy who took offense at everything. The mere fact that John McClane (Bruce Willis) was white was a racist offense to him.
Layered defense starts with
Armed teachers and staff. In charge of denying entry into their classroom. Staff will secure door and deny entry if possible to the shooter. Desk with armed staff, fairly easy to set up. In the Sandy hook attack the shooter shot his way through a window at the entrance and would likely have been down immediately.
Area denial team is a small group of highly trained teachers and staff which will herd the shooter into a small area and kill him or keep him contained. Mostly this will consist of denying hallways and intersections to the shooter. Radios which are consistent with local police and EMS personnel will be carried and used.
Security personnel will be present to help the containment and will assist and direct the containment team.
Most of these school employees will be relieved as the police arrive and deploy inside the school but outside the small containment area. Total engagement time for staff and teachers will be under 10 minutes for most attacks.
Intelligence will be in house as well as social media will be given to local police for immediate action.
The five layers will be almost impossible to get through. It also eliminates a Beslan situation, which is one of my concerns with the Gun Free Zone law. Sitting ducks.
And always remember, it’s for the children.
As I read, there were two attempted and in both cases teachers shot them on the spot. (That’s the proper definition of Gun Control.)
One good reason to keep the gun out of sight and strapped. These teachers (and I include anyone else on campus who is authorized to be part of campus security) have no real need for quick draw holsters. They will have warning in most cases before someone breaks into their classroom.
“...there’s only one entrance into the building...”
But fire codes demand multiple exits, which have to be monitored in some fashion, physically and electronically with armed guards on every corner.
“The teachers are there to teach not defend kids.”
In reality, there would be only a few teachers with concealed carry — males, basically, wearing jackets —would only have to change dress codes — all teachers would have to wear jackets to give anonymity.
Ah, “I’m not a *$%%&* gunfighter... but I play one in the *$%%&* movies.” Well, that clenches it.

Samuel L. Jackson is an actor, nothing more. He lends no insight into the argument, just a thoughtless rebuttal. The President has given much thought to his suggestions. Jackson made remarks that nobody will hold him to if they are worthless. Arming the school administration or the parts of it that wish to be armed looks like the only thing that will do anything positive. What does Jackson have to offer that would possibly do anything positive? He is just shooting off his mouth.
Most cops have never been in a gunfight.
Even those outside Broward Co.
Israel did it in schools- successfully.
Many pilots too, correct?
It wasnt a gunfight, Sam. None of them were. They were massacres. Would someone whose survived a massacre please tell Sam whether they were hoping someone else with a gun would come and help them?
You make some good points but there are thousands and thousands of schools and the cost would be prohibitive. And as the kids enter they are bunched up and make easy targets.
