No Nose Nanette as meanies called her. And yet a brilliant comedian for anyone who cares about Sid Caesar’s brilliant show available on DVD.

My mom went to Jr Hi with her, in Hollywood.

I loved her right alongside Ernie Kovacs’s wife, Edie Adams.

All of my favorites are dying. I watch TCM most of the time (because everything else is trash). And like the Sixth Sense, I see dead people. It gives a person melancholy.

I remember her in "One Day at a Time" as Grandma Romano, with my main TV crush in 1981-82, Valerie Bertinelli.

I remember her well. Did she not have a hearing problem, that I think was later resolved?
I find myself watching older shows more and more. Lately I have been watching the GRIT channel and I just love the old westerns, Laramie is the show I watch now and it really has held up and a a good western drama. Really like John Smith and Robert Fuller. Almost all the old cowboy actors are gone now.
